Attributed, an Anglo-Japanese armchair with slightly curved pagoda shaped arms and fine lattice detailing to the lower sides, with uniting stretchers to the square legs on original brass and ceramic castors.
We have had this armchair professionally reupholstered with embossed gilded leather sunflower heads, replicating E. W. Godwin's furniture he designed for Lord Limerick's Dromore Castle in Ireland in the early 1870s.
