Collier & Plucknett was a prominent Victorian furniture-making firm based in Warwick and Leamington Spa, active from 1869. Founded by cabinetmaker James Plucknett and upholsterer Frederick Collier, the firm became known for its high-quality Gothic Revival and Aesthetic Movement furniture. Their work featured intricate carving, inlays, and ebonized finishes. Notable commissions included the Birmingham Town Hall Council Chamber and interiors at Tyntesfield, a Gothic mansion in Somerset. After Collier’s retirement in 1880, the firm continued as Plucknett & Steevens before operating solely under Plucknett until its closure in 1908.
